(ANSA) - ROME, DECEMBER 18 - Switzerland has announced that from 22 December all restaurants, gyms and sports centers will close for a month in an attempt to stem the increase in coronavirus cases.

The Swiss government has also strongly asked the population to stay at home as long as possible.
Covid cases in Switzerland and nearby Liechtestein have exceeded 400,000 and the victims are over 6,000.
