Slovak Prime Minister Igor Matovic announced Friday, December 18, that he tested positive for Covid-19, a week after attending an EU summit in Brussels.

It is suspected that it was at this summit that French President Emmanuel Macron was infected, which prompted certain European leaders and senior French officials to isolate themselves.
