Meanwhile, Health Minister Yuli Edelstein said this morning (Thursday) in an interview with the GLC that he "estimates that within a week or two, the vaccines will also be opened to the young population."

Regarding reports of the difficulty in making appointments for the elderly population, Edelstein said: "The appointments for at-risk populations scheduled for another month and a half will be brought forward. There will be no such wait."

Last night, the minister updated that "in total, we already have 140,000 vaccinated. The pace is good."

According to data yesterday, we vaccinated about 65,000 civilians.

After the government approved the entry into a third closure tonight, this morning the head of the public health services at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Sharon Elrai-Price, clarified that despite the restrictions on movement "he will be allowed to be vaccinated during the closure - he should not stop this critical process."
