Under lockdown rules, this New Year's Eve will be different than in previous years.
Some experts give tips for a successful year-end closing.
Munich - This year, for many people, the year is not only going to end without a singing, but also without a bang:
Böllern
is
forbidden
within the
Mittlerer Ring
, and you can only
celebrate New Year's Eve
with one other household (and a maximum of five people)
.
Furthermore, the valid
curfew from 21 clock
.
Violations cost up to
500 euros fine
.
But stop!
Who says that you can't
have
a
lot of fun
even in a small group
?
We spoke to event experts - from
cooks
to
bartenders

.
They explain how your
mini-party
at home can be a real blast.
New Year's Eve in lockdown: fire free - no firecrackers!
If you have a garden and don't want to do without shouting “fire free” this year, a
fire bowl
could be
the right idea.
"You can
grill bread on a stick
with children
and the fire creates a romantic atmosphere," says event planner Andreas Lentrodt.
His agency Eventmanagement Lentrodt GmbH organizes
private and company events
in the greater
Munich area *
.
On
New Year's Eve
, due to the corona, things will be quieter than usual at Lentrodt: “I'll have a cozy evening with my family and an
80s motto party
.” A good tip for anyone who doesn't have a garden.
Why not
dress up
a little
for dinner together
?

New Year's Eve in lockdown: the perfect cocktail
"If you
open
a
bottle of champagne
on New Year's Eve
, you can use it to try a great drink," says bartender Susan MacKenzie.
Her suggestion: a
sbagliato
.
The lighter
version of the trend drink Negroni
is
poured
with
Prosecco
or even champagne and is ideal as
an aperitif
.
"
To do
this, you put
30 ml
each of
Campari
and
red vermouth
in a glass with an ice cube, stir briefly and pour champagne - that's it," says MacKenzie, who works in the Garcon Bar on
Viktualienmarkt
.
The advantage: "At a later hour you simply replace the champagne with
30 ml of gin
- and you have a Negroni!"
New Year's Eve in Lockdown: A festive meal as an experience
This
New Year's Eve
is one thing above all: enjoying time with loved ones to the full.
"There is nothing better than
raclette
- with a lukewarm brioche with a little melted cheese and black truffle on top," enthuses the Manu chef, Max Waldhauser.
Another tip: "For nutty aromas, grill
broccoli or kale on the raclette plate
."
For Waldhauser, the exceptional festival also offers a chance to try new things: “For example,
oysters
can be bought at Fisch Witte or Poseidon - a sturdy Parmesan knife is enough to open them.” A
topping of apple cucumber and yuzu kosho
( a Japanese citrus chilli paste).
Cut everything into small pieces,
mix
with
olive oil
, put on the oyster and enjoy!
New Year's Eve in lockdown: With fun in the New Year
Another alternative:
Spend
New Year's Eve with a
game of play
.
"
If
there are enough
orders,
we deliver and leave
on the 31st
", says board game expert Rainer Grundhuber from Funtainment in Landwehrstraße (muenchen@funtainement.de).
His recommendations: “
Mariposas
!
The game
deals with
the
migration of monarch butterflies from Mexico to America
. ”And:
Nova Luna is
a strategic family game (which you can also play alone).“ Or you can celebrate with others online.
Event planner Lentrodt: "A
party on Zoom also has
a surprise factor if you hire a magician (e.g. www.Renemagic.com) who gives a private online performance."
