(ANSA) - ROME, 02 JAN - The United States has started the new year with over 160,000 new cases of coronavirus: this is what emerges from the counts of Johns Hopkins University, according to CNN.
The data indicate that yesterday the infections were at least 160,606, and the dead at least 2,051.
Overall, the US currently has a total of 20,135,305 infections, including 347,865 victims.
