The British Guardian newspaper said that outgoing US President Donald Trump is using the principle of chaos to undermine the regime that he defeated through relentless attempts to stay in power and reverse the election results.
The newspaper added in its editorial that US courts have repeatedly rejected Trump's cases without evidence, but this did not prevent his congressional accomplices from challenging Joe Biden's victory and forcing debate on the vote in Congress.
The newspaper pointed out in the same regard that Trump called on his supporters to reject the election results, noting that his attempts would cause the collapse of local political norms and may lead to the outbreak of a civil war, amid "legitimate" fears of the outbreak of protests, especially in the presence of armed men among the participants.
The newspaper warned that Trump may call in the National Guard or send federal agents to deal with the situation, "and this is chaos through which he hopes to seize power by force of arms."
