Hopes to vaccinate 20 million people in the United States by New Year's Day faded, as it was found that one American dies from infection with the Coronavirus every 33 seconds in light of the obstacles to distributing vaccines.

The United States is likely to start giving half the doses of the "Moderna" vaccine to people between the ages of 18 and 55.
In turn, the FDA commissioner and head of the vaccines division said in a joint statement that people need to get two full doses instead of half a dose.
Dr. Jonathan Rayner, a professor of medicine at George Washington University, said that he does not agree with the idea of giving only half the doses, explaining that the problem is not the lack of availability of the vaccine, but the obstacle is in fact the logistics of vaccinating people in these countries.
According to Johns Hopkins University, over the past week, the average number of deaths in the United States due to the Corona virus per day reached 2,637 cases, and that rate is equal to one death every 33 seconds.
