Chinese telecom giant Huawei denied plans to sell its flagship smartphone brands in a statement.
"Huawei has learned that there are unfounded rumors about the possible sale of the company's flagship smartphone brands," the statement read.
"These rumors have no basis: Huawei has no such plans."
The Chinese company, the text continues, remains fully committed to its smartphone business and will continue to deliver its world-leading products and experience to consumers around the world.
