Germany prohibits entry from 5 countries with varying risk

Germany has decided to ban entry to those coming from countries severely affected by the variants of Covid from tomorrow to February 17: Great Britain, Ireland, Portugal, Brazil and South Africa, plus two neighboring countries to the latter, Lesotho and Swaziland. (HANDLE)

(ANSA) - BERLIN, 29 JAN - Germany has decided to ban entry to those coming from countries severely affected by the Covid variants: Great Britain, Ireland, Portugal, Brazil and South Africa, plus two neighboring countries from tomorrow to February 17 lastly, Lesotho and Swaziland. This was established by the government, as reported by Dpa. The measure will be valid for airlines, railway lines, passenger transport buses. Exceptions will be made for Germans and foreigners residing in Germany, for passengers in transit and for persons involved in the movement of goods. (HANDLE).
