Unknown stole 242 tablets from a school in Berlin.

According to the police, the perpetrators forcibly opened several access doors to the school building in the Gesundbrunnen district.

The damage amounts to around 100,000 euros.

The act occurred on Friday night, according to the police, the tablets were in a multi-locked room.

“The economic damage of 100,000 euros was not the total.

You took the chance for children to digitally shape their future.

Shame on you, ”tweeted the police.

During the corona pandemic, digital learning became very important as an alternative or supplement to teaching in school.

That is why SPD health expert Karl Lauterbach was outraged.

“What a dishonorable, pathetic theft.

The children in this part of Berlin often cannot afford any useful equipment themselves, ”he wrote.
