Atletico Madrid defeated Cadiz today, 4-0, in the match that brought them together in the 21st round of the Spanish Football League.
Alvaro Negredo scored the goals of the match in the 35th and 71st minutes, respectively, and Atletico Madrid scored through its striker Luis Suarez in the 28th and 50th minute from a penalty kick, and Saul Nigues added in the 44th minute, the third goal, Jorge Cookie scored the fourth goal in the 88th minute.
With this victory, Atletico's score rose to 50 points at the top of the standings, 10 points ahead of rivals Real Madrid, in contrast, Cadiz stuck at 24 points in 13th place.
