The defending champion Danish national team decided the final match in its favor, with two goals, 26-24.

This coronation is the second for the Danish team in the World Cup, as it had previously won the championship in 2019 at the expense of Norway with a score of 31-22.

Egypt hosted the 27th edition of the Handball World Cup with the participation of 32 teams during the period between January 13 and 31, without public attendance due to the Corona epidemic.
