(ANSA) - ROME, FEBRUARY 20 - Princess Eugenie and her husband Jack Brooksbank have published the first photo of their son born a week ago and have revealed the name August Philippe Hawke.
A tribute to "his great-grandfather, my grandfather", wrote the princess with a dedication to Prince Philip still hospitalized.
In the images, also published on the princess's Instagram personal account, the little one - the ninth great-grandson of the queen - is in his father's lap, wrapped in a blue cover and pulls out his mother's finger.
"Thank you for the many wonderful messages. Our hearts are filled with love for this little human being. We are thrilled to be able to share these photos with you," Andrew and Sarah Ferguson's second child wrote below, thanking her midwife, author of the photo, and all health professionals who contributed to the birth of their baby.
