UNICEF announced the shipment of the first 100,000 syringes and safe boxes for covid-19 vaccines to the Maldives by air transport.
This first series of shipments also includes places such as Ivory Coast and São Tomé and Príncipe.
The countries that will receive them are included in the Covax initiative plan and are those that submitted a request to Unicef for their supply.
