Ajax Amsterdam is on the verge of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the European Football League, after its 3-0 win over Swiss club Young Boys today in the first leg of the round of 16.
All the goals came in the second half, as Daffy Klassen opened the scoring for Ajax in the 62nd minute, and Dushan Tadic and Brian Broberry added the second and third goals in the 82nd and 92nd minute.
It suffices Ajax losing by two goals in the second leg, which will be held at the opponent's stadium next week, in order to advance to the quarter-finals.
