Barcelona is seeking to sign Norwegian Erling Haaland, Borussia Dortmund's German striker, next summer.
According to the Spanish newspaper Sport, Juan Laporta, President of Barcelona and the Sports Administration of Barca, want to conclude a strong deal in the summer, and the main name in question is Haaland, indicating that the economic situation of Barcelona is still difficult, so the administration will depend on financing the new deals on the sale of the current players.
The newspaper pointed out that the last departure from Dortmund needs at least 100 million euros, which will push Barcelona to get rid of several names such as Junior Verbo,
Philip Coutinho, Antoine Griezmann, Martin Braithwaite, Neto, Samuel
Umtiti, Miralem Pjanic and Matthews to finance the deal.
The newspaper pointed out that the Corona pandemic and the devaluation of players indicate
that Barcelona will not succeed in concluding huge sales.
