Entertainment workers protested today also in Venice and a group of 300 protesters occupied the Ponte della Libertà, which connects the mainland to the historic city center, for a quarter of an hour. After having gathered on the island of Tronchetto, the demonstrators headed towards the bridge across the lagoon, occupying the lanes with the iron caissons that usually hold show equipment, thus slowing down traffic. It was an uneventful protest, organized on World Theater Day to reiterate the difficulties of the sector since the restrictions for Covid-19 began, which brought down the curtain on music, theater, cinema and other forms of live art. Present the most varied figures of the sector: sound engineers, seamstresses, actresses, singers, technical operators, who lit smoke torches, and launched accusatory slogans towards the sectors of the state that have 'forgotten' the entertainment workers (ANSA).
