Alberto and Janette Agüero were on vacation in Surfside, Florida, when part of the building where they were sleeping collapsed.
The couple and their children saw the neighboring apartment literally cut in half.
In the dark they searched for the stairs and were able to descend 11 stories amid despair and rubble.
Today they are back at their home in New Jersey and they told us second by second how they managed to get to safety.
