In Mexico, 32 civil organizations went to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) to request that the Mexican State respect the human rights of migrants who transit through the country as well as that the Armed Forces and National Guard be withdrawn from the migration management.
Representatives of the Mexican State in the virtual meeting rejected the complaints of the civil entities.
In Aristegui, the vice president of the IACHR and Rapporteur of that commission for migration issues, Julissa Mantilla, talks about the issues discussed in the session with the organizations and representatives of the Mexican State.
