(ANSA) - MOGADISCIO, 03 JUL - At least 10 people died and dozens of others were injured yesterday in Mogadishu in a kamikaze attack launched by the Islamist militias of Al-Shabaab in a tea room in the Somali capital: the government announced today.


    The attack took place last night when an individual wearing an explosive belt blew himself up near the Juba hotel, the Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism said.


    The jihadist group Al-Shabaab, linked to Al Qaeda, claimed the attack in a statement, claiming to have killed 15 "elements of government intelligence, police and militia" and to have injured 22 others.
