»Says a journalist arriving at the Fortezza da Basso, a fortress erected in the 16th century on the initiative of Alexandre de Medici. It is true that the Pitti Uomo, the biannual high mass of men's fashion in Florence, looks like a sort of theme park, with turnstiles, food stands, plans decorated with color… and even giant cuddly toys. Except that these do not represent Mickey, but Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the two creators of the Italian house, which occupies a prominent place in the courtyard of the fortress in this hundredth edition of the show. Another major difference: we don't see overexcited children there, but the actors of men's fashion who come to discover or buy the summer collections that will be entering stores in January 2022.
