The signing of Yiftach Ziv in Maccabi Tel Aviv, managed to provoke Gil Amitai, a player from AS Ramat Hasharon, who tweeted: "In my opinion, any player who can escape here and make a career in Europe should do so because basketball in Israel is a cemetery for the local player."
