Hate attacks and online baiting: A lot of hatred pelts down on Annalena Baerbock.

Renate Künast (Greens) is now urgently calling for solidarity from men.

Berlin - After countless hate attacks on the Internet on Chancellor candidate Annalena Baerbock, ex-consumer protection minister Renate Künast (both Greens) denounced an unfair election campaign. She accused the competitors Armin Laschet (CDU) and Olaf Scholz (SPD) of accepting the campaigns. "I would like the men to cry out," she said in an interview with Kreiszeitung.de. And by that she doesn't only mean the men of the SPD and CDU in general, but also “these two gentlemen”.

For years, Künast has been fighting against internet trolls and hate attacks with countless lawsuits and constitutional complaints. Against this background, she followed the attacks on Baerbock and the silence of Scholz and Laschet with eagle eyes. You can read here in a detailed interview * what consequences this can have for the federal election campaign and why, despite numerous efforts, there is still too little help for victims of online hate speech. * Kreiszeitung.de is an offer from IPPEN.MEDIA.
