A study by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention - CDC, for its acronym in English - found that the Covid-19 pandemic reduced life expectancy in the United States.
The finding is reflected in the decrease of a year and a half in 2020 compared to the previous year in that country.
The life expectancy of men went to 74.5 years and that of women, to 80.2.
