Five Iraqi soldiers were killed Thursday July 29 when their helicopter crashed during a "
combat mission
", announced the Iraqi army, without specifying the exact causes of the crash.

According to the statement, the crash occurred near Amrli, south of Kirkuk, an area where the Iraqi army regularly conducts operations against cells of the jihadist organization Islamic State (IS).
