The Mexican Ministry of Health announced the registration of 172 deaths and 7,573 new infections with the Corona virus during the past 24 hours.
In its daily report, the ministry stated that the total number of injuries in the country reached 2,971,817, and deaths were 244420.
The government says the real number of cases is likely to be much higher than reported, while separate data published recently indicate that the actual number of deaths is at least 60 percent more than the confirmed figure.
