Following the slow construction of the staff and rumors of budget difficulties, Hapoel Jerusalem owner Eyal Chomsky posted a post on his Facebook account and tried to make things clear for the fans.
"After a summer full of internal issues, it is important for me to contact you directly and share with you the feelings and what is happening at the club on several levels," Chomsky began.
"I will first share with you the matter of the budget. I will not hide the fact that we have had a challenging and not easy summer so far. The moves made have created a reality in the player market, which allows us to compete for players at a basketball level that does not fall and even rises, for those we really liked to see in the arena in recent years.
