Matthew Taylor Coleman, an instructor at a surf school in California, confessed to killing his two young children in Mexico and allegedly told an FBI investigator that he thought "they were going to turn into monsters, so I had to kill them." according to a criminal complaint filed Wednesday.
CNN is working to determine if Coleman has legal representation.
