In June of last year, craftsmen accidentally found 36 kilograms of marijuana in a Karlsfeld garage.

Two 30-year-olds have had to answer to the Munich district court for two weeks.

As reported, the craftsmen were supposed to prepare the demolition of a house in Ostenstrasse. During their lunch break, they accidentally discovered the marijuana in the garage assembly pit. The suspicion fell on a 30-year-old whose parents had bought the vacant house a few weeks earlier, and his friend of the same age from Hallbergmoos (Freising district). Police were able to determine that they were both involved in drug deals and arrested the young men two months after they were found. The public prosecutor's office accuses them of drug trafficking with a total value of almost 400,000 euros.

The taking of evidence has so far been difficult, because many witnesses are running their own proceedings because of possible involvement and they refuse to provide information in order not to incriminate themselves.

More and more there are signs that the accused son made the garage available and carried out further aid.

Hintermann, however, seems to be one of his relatives: a "cousin by marriage".

The ex-girlfriend of the co-defendant Hallbergmooser reported that the cousin was a “big drug dealer” and that the defendants just “slipped in”.

The verdict is now due to fall at the end of September.
