The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, asked Mexicans who have not been vaccinated to do so.
"He who was delayed or thought about it should no longer think about it. There are enough vaccines," said AMLO.
The undersecretary of Health of Mexico, Hugo López-Gatell, said that 95.5% of the deaths "each and every one of them, very regrettable, occurred with people who had not been vaccinated."
