The decree promulgated by Mayor Bill de Blasio says that anyone who wishes to enter businesses, entertainment venues and gyms will have to present proof of having been vaccinated.
Whoever does not show the vaccination certificate, whether in physical or digital form, could have to pay a fine of US $ 1,000, a sum that would gradually increase for those who do not comply with that requirement.
