Swiss international Xherdan Shaqiri has signed until 2024 with Olympique Lyon, who paid € 6m to Liverpool.
The deal also includes a bonus of five million, said OL, who hopes to have found in this attacking midfielder the successor of the star Memphis Depay, who played for Barcelona in the summer transfer market.
At 29, Shaqiri has 96 selections in the Swiss national team, with which he eliminated France in the round of 16 of Euro 2020. In his three seasons with the "Reds", he won the Champions League in 2019 and the Premier League in 2020.
