(ANSA) - CAGLIARI, AUGUST 30 - The Radicals' tour continues in Sardinia for the referendum campaign on Just Justice.

"Help us to collect the signatures. The reform begins with these questions", said today the secretary Maurizio Turco, on the occasion of a meeting broadcast live on Radio Radicalee organized with the Party of Sardinians and Italia Viva, present the head of the La Collina Community, Don Ettore Cannavera.

The campaign promoted with the help of the League has made it possible to reach over 500 thousand signatures throughout Italy but, to secure the consultation that should be held in less than a year, the aim is to total at least 750 thousand. The treasurer of the Radicals Irene Testa recalled the case of Aldo Scardella, a citizen of Cagliari who was the protagonist of a sensational judicial error that led to his suicide in 1986: "as soon as he was released, Enzo Tortora took flowers to his grave". One of the most successful questions, he added, is precisely that of the civil liability of magistrates. "A thousand innocent people currently in prison - he says - constitute a pathological problem". (HANDLE).
