Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi affirmed that his country supports the "useful" nuclear talks, stressing that the goal should be to lift the embargo imposed on Iran.

"We do not oppose holding useful talks, but the program and result of those talks should be the abolition of the embargo imposed on Iran," Raisi said during a telephone conversation with his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron, considering that "negotiating for the sake of negotiation is futile."

The Iranian president criticized the policies of some countries that divide terrorism into "bad and good", especially the United States, which supports terrorism in the world, and said that the terrorist organization "ISIS" was created and supported by the Americans, reiterating his country's position rejecting terrorism anywhere and in any form.

The Iranian president also affirmed his support for “the formation of a strong Lebanese government capable of providing and preserving the rights of the Lebanese people.
