A man is said to have shot a police officer with a crossbow in the small town of Linden in Hesse.
The arrow missed the officials, as the public prosecutor in Giessen announced.
The alleged shooter was arrested and taken into custody; he is said to be close to the "Reichsbürger" scene.
The police should therefore search the apartment of the man with no criminal record in Linden in Central Hesse on Tuesday, as he is being investigated for fraud.
In addition, a foreclosure by a bailiff was planned.
When the officers were in the apartment, the 47-year-old is said to have shot.
According to the information, the arrow hit the ceiling.
The police then overpowered the man and arrested him, it said.
He is accused of attempted manslaughter and resistance to law enforcement officers.
