Some online services are going through the ages of the internet.
This is the case with MSN, Microsoft's service portal, and its news section.
The latter was entitled Wednesday to a deep facelift based on artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning and recommendation algorithms.
Now call it Microsoft Start.
Available on the web, in a mobile application, in a Windows widget or in the Edge browser, Microsoft Start intends to be a news and entertainment portal that adapts to the tastes of each user.
As on Netflix, algorithms try to guess the interests of the Internet user based on the articles clicked and those ignored.

The user can facilitate the task of the AI by specifying the themes he wishes to see, but also by banning certain media.
Like on Facebook, he can react to articles with emojis (thumbs up, anger, astonishment…).
The more Microsoft Start is used, the more relevant it is supposed to be.
