After a head-on collision on Tuesday afternoon on federal highway 471 between Aschheim and Ismaning, a 53-year-old from the Freising district died.
The accident happened shortly before 3 p.m. around 300 meters in front of the Birkenhof pond.

The alleged cause of the accident had to be rescued by the

with heavy equipment and died at the scene of the accident.
The driver and passenger in the BMW were seriously injured
The BMW driver, a 69-year-old from the eastern district of Munich, and her 80-year-old co-driver suffered serious injuries.
The B 471 was closed for two hours.
The fire brigades Aschheim and Ismaning were deployed with 45 men under the direction of the Aschheim commander Florian Gebauer.
