US Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas announced that he will impose new cybersecurity orders on the railroad and aviation industries.
The new rule will require higher risk rail entities to report cyber incidents to the federal government;
and in the air sector they will require airport and aircraft operators to appoint cybersecurity coordinators and report cyber incidents.
