Car wreck on the A14 near Leisnig: use after a traffic accident

In a traffic accident on Autobahn 14 in Saxony, 15 people were injured late on Thursday evening, seven of them seriously.
According to the police, the 48-year-old driver of a pickup truck hit another pickup truck from behind at the Mühlenberg-Nord rest area near Leisnig.
According to a spokeswoman for the police, the 58-year-old driver of the transporter in front had previously reduced the speed.
The 15 injured were taken to nearby hospitals.
They are therefore in their late 20s to late 60s.
The A14 was closed for several hours and was accessible again in both directions early in the morning.
