Astronomers said: Today, the Earth will be as close to the planet Uranus as possible.

According to the Russian newspaper (Mir 24), the distance between the planet and Earth is 2.8 billion kilometers, which is the smallest distance this year. This convergence is due to the fact that Uranus will enter into one axis with the Sun and the Earth, where the centers of the celestial bodies will be on the same line.

This is the best time to observe Uranus as its apparent diameter will be the largest this year and the seventh planet will be visible through any simple telescope.

The planet is the third largest planet in the solar system and the fourth in terms of mass and was named after the god Uranus in Greek mythology. It was not distinguished by ancient civilizations as a planet, although it is visible to the naked eye.
