A serious traffic accident occurred on the A13 this Friday around 1 p.m., causing the death of a 43-year-old man.

A motorbike was traveling in interlocks in the direction of Paris Province, on the approach to the Chambourcy exit, when a car moved from the left lane to the right one.

Forced to move to his right where a truck was traveling, the biker fell from his two-wheeler.

"He died instantly because he went under the wheels of the heavyweight", indicates a source close to the case.

The accident set off a chain reaction involving eight other cars that got entangled in each other.

An open investigation

A 27-year-old woman was rushed to hospital with absolute urgency, without her life-threatening prognosis.

Three other people were slightly injured.

The accident resulted in the total interruption of traffic for more than an hour in the direction of Paris Province.

A deviation was put in place at the Rocquencourt triangle during the intervention.

Around 2:30 p.m., a lane was reopened on the A13, but it was not until the end of the day that traffic resumed normally.

An investigation is opened to determine the circumstances of the tragedy.
