The fight between Johnny Depp and Amber Heard becomes a documentary. According to Variety, Discovery commissioned
'Johnny vs Amber',
a two-episode project that chronicles the breakup of the relationship between the two actors and the end in a courtroom.
Produced by Optomen, each episode tells the perspective of one of them. Interviews with lawyers and testimonies from people close to the ex couple are planned. The documentary will be available on Discovery Plus.
In 2016, after just 15 months of marriage, Heard filed for divorce from Depp claiming she suffered physical violence when he was drunk. The story is immediately controversial and after various clashes it comes to divorce in 2017.
In 2019, Depp accuses his ex-wife of adultery and defamation and files a complaint asking for a total compensation of 50 million dollars.
