This was stated by the German Minister of Health, Karl Lauterbach, at a press conference in Berlin.
"These could be available from April-May," he added.
"A fourth dose of the vaccine will likely be needed," Lauterbach also said, answering a question.
"We don't know how long the booster will hold," he explained, noting that this may not be effective for long against the Omicron variant.
