The strong snow storm that swept the US states of California and Nevada continues, accompanied by heavy snowfall, which led to roads being cut off and travel warnings issued in the coming days.

About 76 centimeters of snow fell in parts of northern California in 24 hours, causing power outages and closing roads, including the 112-km highway to Nevada.
And issued warnings of avalanches in six US states.
For its part, Los Angeles International Airport reported that an electrical problem related to the storm forced a partial closure of one of the building's sections, which caused diverting passengers to other centers, indicating that delays and cancellations are possible.
As severe storms battered the West Coast, many southern states experienced unusually warm temperatures.
The weather service said that Wichita Falls, near the Texas border with Oklahoma, recorded a record temperature of 32 degrees Celsius, while Houston saw temperatures of 27 degrees Celsius.
