The Directorate of Education in the Damascus Countryside Governorate has completed the restoration and maintenance work of the newly renovated Zabadin School for Girls, the first cycle, and it will enter service at the beginning of the second semester.

Director of Damascus Countryside Education Maher Faraj explained to SANA that the restoration of the school was carried out in cooperation between the Ministry of Education and the French Islamic Organization, pointing out that 350 schools have entered service since 2018, out of the 400 damaged schools, with government and private partnership.

Faraj pointed out that the restoration work is continuing to complete the remaining 50 schools, explaining that most of the remaining schools have suffered structural damage and need complete reconstruction, and a large part of them are included in this year's reconstruction plan.

In turn, the head of the School Buildings Department, Engineer Bushra Koussa, explained that the maintenance work is carried out within the standard specifications that ensure a safe environment for students and students, pointing out that the updated Zabadin School for Girls consists of three floors and contains 20 classrooms and 9 administrative rooms, in addition to preparing a kindergarten room to be included in the “Get ready” project. to enroll in school.

The supervisor of the educational complex in Eastern Ghouta, Khaled Al-Soudah, pointed out that entering the Zebdin School for service will contribute to alleviating the population density in the area and providing educational services to the neighboring villages.
