Deputy Secretary-General of Hezbollah Sheikh Naim Qassem blamed the unjust US blockade on Lebanon primarily for the economic, financial and social deterioration, in addition to the past economic and financial policies.
In a speech today in the southern suburbs of Beirut, Sheikh Qassem said, “These and other reasons have led Lebanon to the current deterioration,” adding, “It is not possible to start any treatment unless we address these causes and try to face these challenges, including facing the American blockade in different ways.”
