Murder this morning in the countryside of Gesturi, in southern Sardinia.
The victim is a 40-year-old shepherd, Matteo Murgia.
The man, according to what we learn, was shot dead while he was inside a sheepfold.
The carabinieri of the Compagnia di Iglesias, the Provincial Command of Cagliari and the Investigative Unit are operating on the spot.
The whole area has been cordoned off to allow for surveys.
