The city of Iquique, in the region of Tarapacá, Chile, woke up on Monday with a general strike called by different transport unions, merchants, civil society and spontaneous individuals who claim irregular migration, the increase in crime and the lack of measures by the Government to control the situation.
This happens after on Sunday, in the middle of another protest in the city, some people vandalized a foreigners' camp.
