The United States renewed its support and coverage of the Israeli occupation practices and violations against the Palestinians, rejecting a human rights report describing these practices as apartheid.
Reuters quoted US State Department spokesman Ned Price as saying today: His country rejects the opinion of Amnesty International, which considers "the actions of the Israelis" against the Palestinians constitute "apartheid", considering that his ministry's reports "never used such terms."
Amnesty International called on the international community to take action to stop the crimes of the Israeli occupation against the Palestinians, stressing the need not to limit international responses to condemnations, in the context of a report by the organization entitled “The Israeli apartheid regime against the Palestinians.”
