A minor under 17 years of age lost his life this Wednesday when the car he was driving left the road in the municipality of Villarramiel (Palencia) and subsequently collided with a wall early this Wednesday morning, according to data from the General Directorate of Traffic and the Emergency Service of Castilla y León 112.
The accident took place around 06.00.
The witnesses explained that a car had gone off the road and had collided with a bridge and after what had been left off the road, without being able to specify the number of occupants or their condition.
Tourism, according to data from the DGT, has left the road after making a straight at a roundabout located at kilometer 31 of the P-953 road and has subsequently collided with the retaining wall of an overpass over the N -610.
The 112 operations room gave notice of the incident to the Civil Traffic Guard, to the firefighters of the Palencia Provincial Council, and to Emergencies Sanitarias- Sacyl, which sent a basic life support ambulance, the medical team from the Villarramiel health center and a mobile ICU.
This last appeal was annulled when Sacyl staff confirmed that the injured person, a minor who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, had died.
